Welcome to ICCA 2022

The 17th IEEE International Conference on Control & Automation (IEEE ICCA 2022) will be held in hybrid mode Monday through Thursday, June 27-30, 2022, both in Naples, Italy and online in view of the global COVID19 situation. The conference is organized by IEEE Control Systems Chapter, Singapore. It is technically sponsored by IEEE Control Systems Society (CSS), IEEE CSS Italy Chapter and IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Italy Chapter. It aims to create a forum for scientists and practising engineers throughout the world to present the latest research findings and ideas in the areas of control and automation, and possible contributions toward sustainable development and environment preservation. The conference is featured with Best Paper Award and Best Student Paper Award. Selected papers will be invited for submissions to a special issue in Asian Journal of Control.

Naples (Italian: Napoli) is the capital of Campania region in Italy. The city is the third most populated municipality of Italy. It was founded between the 7th and 6th centuries BC by the Greeks and was named Neapolis, which means new city. The historic centre of Naples has earned the UNESCO Worlds Heritage Site denomination. It has one of the biggest historical city centres in the world, including 448 monumental churches, the highest number in the world for a single city, and centuries of important art and architecture. Nearby is Mount Vesuvius, the still-active volcano that destroyed nearby Roman town Pompeii.

Past IEEE ICCA Proceedings have been included in EI Compendex, IEEE Xplore and ISI
